When Will the Single-Player Campaign of Delta Force Come Out?

Dropping the bad news for eager fans, Team Jade – behind last year’s hit Delta Force – has announced that the much expected Black Hawk Down campaign was delayed. The launch date wasn’t even announced and already has been delayed – a sad trend in the video game industry of the last few years. The team promised in their X update that the remastered single-player experience in Delta Force will now be available during Season Starfall. However, they have not announced the date – just mentioned the delay.

Team Jade decided to focus on quality, saying they needed a bit more time to polish and optimize the campaign.

We get the community’s excitement for Black Hawk Down,” Team Jade said in their official statement. “We may not get there as soon as some others would, but we think the right call is to take a little more time to do it right.”

What Will the Campaign Be About?

Of course, it’s a sensitive topic and the single-player mode definitely needs some time for polishing. The campaign is based on both the original Delta Force game and Ridley Scott’s acclaimed film involves dealing with complex historical events that must be dealt with gently. Given they’ve been vocal about the effort to balance historical accuracy and cultural sensitivity, this delay is understandable. Most fans agree on YouTube that Delta Force needs the delay to release an awesome single-player campaign.

But there is not only bad news for Delta Force players. To cheer the fans up, the Season Starfall brings plenty of new content to bring. One highlight is a new 3v3v3 PvP mode called “Hot Zone” with tight two-minute rounds in enclosed quarters – just like in the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 update. In addition, players can also explore new locations – such as the Underground and Broken Bridge. Both areas have new secrets to discover.

We Still Get the Multiplayer Updates!

Starting January 18th, 2025, the multiplayer mode gets the update dedicated to the Lunar New Year Event – Fall of Skynet. It will add a few extra bangs to matches by way of random rocket launches at midnight. There’s a round of balance tweaks and fixes along with new weapons, operators, and movement options, as well. The fans are already waiting for this update and discussing the benefits/drawbacks of it on Reddit.
