Was Borderlands 4 Actually Confirmed? 

Gearbox Software is a well-known developer studio of popular games Borderlands, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and Brothers in Arms. Recently this developer studio has been bought by Take-Two Interactive (also known as 2K). This news is unexpected because there was a plan for Embracer Group to buy Gearbox last year but it didn’t happen.

The studio did not directly say “Borderlands 4” but they referred to the coming title as the “next installment” of the legendary series. The statement said, “We have enjoyed working together with Gearbox for all editions of Borderlands and are now in the process of making the next one”.
