Will a New 5v5 Mode Be the Next Big Thing for Fortnite?
The famous Fortnite insider HYPEX announced a few possible changes that are coming to Fortnite very soon. We’ve decided to speculate on these rumors and explore more about what can happen in the game during the upcoming Chapter 6. And it seems that the first thing we will get is a new 5v5 mode.
Fortnite was always about innovation, and a rumored 5v5 mode (leaked by HYPEX on the X post) could be the next step with the Epic Games’ strategy for the game’s update roadmap.
Two 5-person teams would battle against each other in quick-paced, high-octane combat. It seems that building and crafting mechanics would be reduced to the minimum. According to this leak, Fortnite may release another unknown single competitive mode with a smaller map but these are just rumors, while the 5v5 mode is more realistic.
Does The Figment Mode from Chapter 1 Come Back?
What’s also real is the comeback of the Figment Mode. It is just like the good old days when Fortnite was a rising star with a quite small community. Gamers should expect a similar loot bar and old-school map features. Figment Mode will offer the 100-player experience but with the support of solos, duos, squads, and even Zero Build settings. It seems that this time they are going to make it a regular mode.
