Xbox Cloud Gaming for Your Library Could Become Available by the End of 2024

Rumor says the big news might be looming for Xbox Cloud Gaming. According to recent reports, Xbox will soon allow players to stream their own Xbox games via the cloud. Such an announcement would be huge for gamers who want to play the titles they own on any screen, without even buying a console. Just imagine being able to fire up your favorite game from anywhere, on your phone or tablet. That’s the dream, and it may be arriving sooner than we think!

You can say whatever you want about Microsoft and Xbox in particular. All these scandals about closed studios, layoffs, release of first-party games on PlayStation were not good for the marketing team of Xbox. But their new features and incredible Game Pass announcements are still the best offers for gamers in 2024. Simple like that.

Xbox gives and gives free features that are truly amazing for any platform. Xbox Cloud Gaming is one of such features you will be able to test very soon, after the closed testing among Xbox Insider Program’s participants.

The rumor mill on Reddit began with a report via The Verge, stating that Xbox intends to begin testing this new feature in November. First, it will be made available to Xbox Insiders. If all goes well, it will roll out to everyone in the future.

If you playing Xbox games and stream them to Instagram – you may need some engagements to boost your post visibility. At this point you may need to buy Instagram saves from a reliable service.

Curiously, this is not the first time such ambitions on the part of Xbox have come to light regarding letting players stream their own games. In fact, they did make some noise for the first time in 2022 but never actually pulled it off. Now, powered by Microsoft’s Project Lapland, that long-awaited feature might appear by the end of 2024.

Is Xbox Cloud Gaming Worth the Wait?

Xbox Cloud Gaming has already allowed Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to play a selection of games on almost any device since its launch in 2020. So far, the only streamable games are those in the Game Pass library. That would change with this new move. If the rumors are true, players might soon be streaming the games from their personal libraries – even the ones not in Game Pass. Imagine streaming Metaphor: ReFantazio or any other cool game by Sega to your phone instead of the console! The mind-blowing feature!

Xbox has been pushing hard to get its cloud gaming presence at the fore. It partnered with Amazon earlier this year to bring the Xbox Cloud Gaming platform to Fire TV devices, making it even easier for gamers to stream Xbox titles than ever. That would be another great leap if the feature goes into effect and gives huge freedom to the players to enjoy their favorite games wherever they are.

Great times for Xbox Cloud Gaming, and if these are anything to go by, then it’s only going to get better from here!
