Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen – The Early Access Teases Exciting New Details

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen, the MMORPG every fan has been patiently waiting for, is getting closer to the release date of its Early Access edition. The dev team recently shared many new details during their latest Q&A session, showing that this game is in development. However, there’s something special about the Pantheon Early Access – it isn’t just an ordinary soft launch.

The major events in Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen happen in Terminus, a world of high fantasy where gods and heroes used to move about. This planet is made from parts of broken realms that have their stories and secrets to explore. You will act as a player, taking on the role of an unforgettable hero who has lost their strength. Now you are free to discover this land full of obstacles and secrets during the upcoming Early Access stage.

The Q&A session delivered one message strongly: Pantheon is dealing with a lot. Whether it’s the improvement of guild systems or the inclusion of higher-level player content, the developer team still has a lot of things to work on. The developers stressed that Early Access for this MMO game means more than simply playing – it also involves participating in the development process. The game will change a few times before the full-time launch. Just like with many other MMO games, think of Eternal Tombs, you just have to wait till the stage of Early Access is over.

The main question – about pricing and monetization – was left unanswered. Pledgers can have peace that they will receive entrance to the Early Access version of Pantheon. However, certain benefits from the Early Access edition will vapor out with the full game’s release. So, let’s hope that another Q&A session will clarify these questions soon. For now, check the Reddit threads dedicated to this awesome game. You can ask your questions directly to the devs.

Proved Early Access Facts from Pantheon Devs

Ahead of this Q&A session, the details were already given in an “Early Access Fact Sheet” on the official website for anticipating fans. This list covered the essentials such as playable races, classes, and areas. It was also noted there will not be any server-hopping allowed along with confirmation of the character. But those who have pledged at a higher tier can start playing earlier, before the launch. Your progress from the Early Access game would be saved and transferred after the launch so you could be ahead of novices.

Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen will get the Early Access release window somewhere in December 2024. During the Early Access stage of the game, players can go through some in-game locations and areas – Thronefast, Halnir’s Cave, and Wild’s End. They have options to pick classes such as Necromancer, Ranger, and Paladin among others. All players who already pledged along with fresh ones buying a digital version will get access during this phase. Crucially, those who hold pledges don’t have to buy anything extra to join in. But they should note that a lot of pledge benefits will disappear when Early Access starts.

For Pre-Early Access, a character’s wipe will happen. Those who have VIP and Champion pledges will get ahead in the game, though. The team is also preparing for many servers to handle all players, yet they won’t permit jumping between servers.

During this timeframe, there should be frequent updates and sometimes character wipes. You can still make a preorder and receive special benefits. For instance, with “Head-Start Access”, you get permission to enter the game before it becomes officially accessible during the Early Access period.
